Thank you to all of you for your contribution.
On the 13th of May our school was hosting special guests from Romania, namely teachers from Scoala Vasile Alecsandri in Baia Mare: Daniela Buda (the European coordinator of the project Ethno Treasure Hunt – http://ethnotreasurehunt.blogspot.com ) and two other teachers: Lucian Paul and Octavian Pop.
We showed them round the school. They liked our classrooms, equipment, decorations, the Eco – Ideas exhibition, fields, pitches and playgrounds . We also spent some time on the discussion about our projects – Is it Waste or Money? and Ethno Treasure Hunt.
It was a very good opportunity to exchange and share some ideas that could enrich both our projects.
I would like to say THANK YOU to Daniela, Lucian and Octavian that they came to Warsaw and visited our school. It was a very nice experience.

In our school, we care about the environment, that is why we are part of this Comenius Project and we are also members of “Red de Escuelas por el Reciclado” (Network of Schools for Recycling).
As active members of this network we were invited to visit COGERSA (the Consortium for Solid Waste Management in Asturias).
From the 30th April to the 7th May we celebrated the Comenius Week. On the 7th of May we organised an exhibition of different things made of recyclable materials that our pupils had done from the beginning of the school year: bookmarks, plastic vases, toys, bags, decorations, Christmas and Easter cards, Easter eggs, robots, purses, Polish – English dictionary of Recycling and Environment made by one of our pupils (her name is Klaudia Nowakowska, Year 4F), dolls etc. Here are some photos. You can have a look.

Dissemination activities
On the 27th of April our school celebrated the 20th anniversary. It was a very good opportunity to disseminate our work in the project. We presented all the partner schools and a short PowerPoint presentation of all our activities.
We invited local authorities, local press, head teachers from other schools, some officials from the Ministry of Education, parents, pupils etc. We also sent an invitation to the National Agency.
It was great day for all of us. Here are some photos.
